Hiya My lovely friends hope you are all safe and well!
As you may not know me and James has gone down to Weymouth for 3 weeks for Easter! , we are loving our time here . We have been doing quite a lot of cooking as we are not guests we are family , we have cooked meatballs , toad in the hole and mini Easter cereal cakes ! James has extended our cooking cookbook with some new recipes we have learnt in Weymouth.
We came down halfway on Thursday 1st April 2021 and we are coming back on Thursday 22nd April , we have been playing Monopoly almost every day, we also go out for a daily exercise to walk the dogs and we do a bit of running to get our hearts pumping .
On Easter Monday we went out for a lovely lunch on a sea front restaurant called the cactus don't worry they did gluten free, I had Ham egg and chips , James had cod and chips , my lovely mother in law had Scampi and Chips and my father in law had the same as me but a large , I also had a diet coke , James had the same , Bryn and Chris had latte's.
Afterwards we went down the esplanade and got an ice cream , I had a Madagascan Vanilla, James had a solero and Bryn and Chris salted caramel in a cone.
On Friday 16th April 2021 me , James , Noah and Chris and Auntie Jane , Noah is James's nephew and he is 7 and full of energy! , we went to a farm called Kingston Maurward and we saw some lovely animals and I had a gluten free Victoria sponge cake for my lunch , and we had a lovely lunch break and then we walked through the gardens and the best part was seeing all the beautiful blossom and the lovely flowers just starting to bud.
On Saturday 17th April 2021 we are going to get another Ice cream at Rossi's and fish and fritz which is a fish and chip shop located in Weymouth with James's Auntie.
In conclusion we are having a great time and being well fed (as always) we are definitely coming again as it makes James and me very happy!
